Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at ITW Deltar Fasteners. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sales and account management for the Hyundai account and related tiers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow existing accounts and develop new ones
  • Establish strong contacts with customers
  • Initiate and follow up on new product development opportunities and growth opportunities
  • Establish strategies and goals for customer penetration to ensure growth with core type products on selected Focused Platform launches
  • Leverage local and global market knowledge to focus on growing products and introduce new ones
  • Nurture customer relationships to provide insight and a competitive advantage
  • Own comprehensive market research aligned with strategic growth priorities
  • Develop a funnel of new business opportunities and manage the list of top opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the automotive industry
  • Sales experience with Korean OEMs (Hyundai, etc.) and proven track record of product knowledge
  • Technical understanding and experience with plastic fasteners and/or plastic injection molding
  • Ability to develop project budgets and communicate effectively with colleagues and staff
