Key Responsibilities

The CT Technologist plays a vital role in executing various imaging procedures as directed by physicians. Responsibilities include:

  • Exhibiting the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the patient populations served.
  • Understanding the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and being able to assess patient data relative to age-specific needs.
  • Evaluating patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporating educational elements throughout the CT procedures.
  • Delivering compassionate, holistic care while upholding the rights and dignity of all patients.

Qualifications Required

  • Graduation from an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ARRT registration; CT Certification must be obtained within six months.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in CT imaging.
