Role Summary and Responsibilities
The CT Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services as prescribed by physicians. Responsibilities include:
- Exhibiting the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for diverse patient populations.
- Understanding the principles of growth and development across the lifespan to meet age-specific patient needs.
- Evaluating patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporating education throughout the imaging process.
- Delivering compassionate, holistic care while respecting the rights and dignity of all patients.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT registration with CT Certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in CT imaging.
