Role Responsibilities
The CT Technologist is accountable for executing a range of imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians. This role encompasses daily activities that ensure the provision of high-quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Exhibiting the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver appropriate care for the patient demographics served.
- Understanding the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's age-specific needs.
- Evaluating patients' and families' capacity to learn and integrating education throughout the CT process.
- Providing compassionate, holistic care while upholding the rights and dignity of all patients.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduation from an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT registration; CT Certification required or to be obtained within six months.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of CT experience.
