Compensation:

Starting pay is now set at $18.28 per hour for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree and $17.78 per hour for those without.

Experience credits will be added to the base pay.

A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available (half paid in the first paycheck and the remaining half after 90 days of employment).

Annual increments of $1,560 for those with a Master’s degree.

Overtime compensation is provided at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Position Overview:

We are in search of a Behavioral Support Specialist with experience in working with diverse student populations, who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children facing learning challenges and mental health issues.

Work Schedule:

Wednesday to Saturday, 11 PM to 9 AM (4 ten-hour shifts).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular checks (every 15 minutes) to ensure all students are accounted for.

2. Perform basic housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishwashing, and cleaning common areas.

3. Ensure safety protocols are followed by securing all exterior doors and monitoring for unauthorized individuals or vehicles.

4. Demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities.

5. Implement tailored instructional strategies suitable for each child's cognitive, emotional, social, and psychological development.

6. Communicate relevant information to supervisors, clinicians, behaviorists, and nursing staff.

7. Uphold campus core values of fairness, honesty, respect, responsibility, and kindness.

8. Create a safe, clean, nurturing, and productive living environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

- High School Diploma.

- Must be at least 21 years old.

- Valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least one year of experience in Human Services, particularly with children, adolescents, and adults.
