Key Responsibilities:


The primary objective of this position is to oversee the safety and well-being of our clients while establishing a trusting relationship with them.

This role involves assisting clients in group settings and addressing individual challenges; setting behavioral boundaries; documenting client progress; recognizing the need for professional intervention and communicating these observations to the clinical team.

*This role offers potential for career advancement. Opportunities available include full-time, part-time, and per diem positions.

Core Duties:
Maintain awareness of the whereabouts and activities of all assigned clients at all times.

When assigned to provide one-on-one support, it is essential to maintain visual contact with the client throughout the duration of the assignment.

If a client attempts to leave the premises, the expectation is to follow them until further assistance is available.

Facilitate the daily residential schedule, which includes engaging with and supporting residents in various activities such as chores, thorough cleaning of designated areas, meal preparation, laundry, group sessions, recreational activities, and events.

Provide safe transportation for residents during community outings and meetings using company vehicles.

Adhere to all policies, record-keeping protocols, checklist tasks, assigned documentation, and any other responsibilities as required.

Stay current with all necessary training and certifications to maintain employment with Newport Healthcare.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology is preferred. Previous experience in behavioral health settings with adolescents is advantageous. A valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles are necessary.
