About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the position of Chief Administrative Officer-Neurosciences at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the department's strategic operational plan, ensuring alignment with JHHS goals.
  • Oversee budget development and execution, grants management, contract administration, compensation planning, and personnel management.
  • Promote high-quality care and optimize financial performance across affiliated hospitals and Neurosciences at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement clinical practices' strategic operational plans.
  • Provide leadership for the administrative staff, managing space allocation, HR & recruitment, and marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in MBA, MHA, MPH, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as an administrator in an academic medical or surgical department, with experience in neurosciences preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, mediation abilities, and multitasking skills required.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare essential.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship building critical.
  • An outstanding communicator and collaborator with leadership presence to command respect and influence.
  • A driver of change, capable of managing conflict with adaptability and agility.
  • A person of the highest personal and professional ethics and character.

Estimated Salary:$190,000 per annum.
