We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Maintain the flow of work within the office, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Plan, organize, and maintain the daily routine in the office, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Provide administrative support to staff members, including typing, reading, editing, processing information, and preparing correspondence.
- Transcribe meeting minutes, type agendas, and distribute backup information and agenda.
- Input data into computer systems to generate status reports.
- Order supplies and materials as needed.
- Attend meetings as necessary, taking notes and reporting back to management.
- Answer telephone inquiries from staff, outside organizations, residents, and the general public.
- Schedule meetings, answer telephone inquiries, type various letters, forms, memos, and other forms of correspondence for staff.
- Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets as needed.
- Schedule telephone coverage and assign typing projects.
- Maintain complex filing systems for ongoing files.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or responsible clerical work, preferably including one year in a supervisory capacity.
- Possession of a valid Maryland driver's license.
- Ability to be covered under the Authority's fidelity bond.
- Ability to be covered under the Authority's vehicle insurance policy.
