Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the flow of work within the office, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Plan, organize, and maintain the daily routine in the office, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to staff members, including typing, reading, editing, processing information, and preparing correspondence.
  • Transcribe meeting minutes, type agendas, and distribute backup information and agenda.
  • Input data into computer systems to generate status reports.
  • Order supplies and materials as needed.
  • Attend meetings as necessary, taking notes and reporting back to management.
  • Answer telephone inquiries from staff, outside organizations, residents, and the general public.
  • Schedule meetings, answer telephone inquiries, type various letters, forms, memos, and other forms of correspondence for staff.
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets as needed.
  • Schedule telephone coverage and assign typing projects.
  • Maintain complex filing systems for ongoing files.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or responsible clerical work, preferably including one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Possession of a valid Maryland driver's license.
  • Ability to be covered under the Authority's fidelity bond.
  • Ability to be covered under the Authority's vehicle insurance policy.
