About the Role

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Representative to join our team in the Chicago area. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers to drive sales of our commercial boiler equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Sales and Business Development: Responsible for the technical sales and business development of new and existing customers, including performing required research to support customer requests for quotes and general information solicitation.
  • Quote Follow-up and Customer Engagement: Perform quote follow-up to spur customer decisions and develop new business/sales opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work with management to develop feedback related to target and sales program performance/enhancements, and solicit input for new products as well as collecting feedback for increasing sales related to existing offerings.
  • Local Strategy and Support: Work with management to develop local strategy and support peers and management with internal and external projects.
Requirements
  • Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience: 3+ years relevant sales experience with commercial and industrial boiler systems.
  • Travel Requirements: +50% state and regional travel; travel will consist of visiting customers, project sites, tradeshows, etc.
