Role Overview

The Operations Excellence Consultant will play a crucial role within the Asset Lifecycle Solutions team, focusing on enhancing the Operability, Reliability, and Maintainability (ORM) of facilities during production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement strategies for Reliability, Maintainability, and Asset Management throughout various project phases, including Concept development and Operations.
  • Establish and assess Reliability and Maintenance KPIs to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to design condition monitoring and maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with Client Operations and Maintenance teams to develop Condition-based Monitoring (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies for critical equipment.
  • Lead or engage in Equipment Criticality Assessments and Root Cause Analyses.
  • Facilitate the implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and ensure smooth handover to clients.
  • Provide technical guidance to plant personnel on troubleshooting and enhancing equipment reliability.
  • Assist clients in optimizing maintenance practices to meet compliance targets for Safety Critical Equipment.
Additionally, you will support the maintenance team with troubleshooting and root cause analysis using methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEA.

Candidate Profile

We seek applicants with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in hands-on operations or maintenance roles. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A B.Sc. or equivalent degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector, including oil & gas and renewable energy.
  • Familiarity with Asset Management standards and reliability data, such as ISO 55000 Series.
  • Experience in managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • A solid understanding of Maintenance and Asset Management techniques.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and intercultural skills.
  • A commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • The ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
