Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase sales.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a management role in the food service industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality and restaurant management certification or college degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
