Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and waste to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant and equipment to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Manage budgets and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a management role in fine dining or similar volume, full-service chain or corporate environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with hospitality and restaurant management certification or college degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
