Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Events Coordinator to join our team at Stanford University. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events related to sustainability, including conferences, workshops, and webinars.

About the Role

The Sustainability Events Coordinator will work closely with our team to develop and implement event strategies that promote sustainability awareness and education. This includes managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that all events meet our sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement event strategies that align with our sustainability goals
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Work with vendors to ensure that all events meet our sustainability standards
  • Manage event registration and ticketing
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote events
  • Collaborate with speakers and presenters to ensure successful events
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, communications, or event management
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with event management software and tools
