Front Desk Manager at Neighborhood Health Center
Neighborhood Health Center (NHC) is seeking a committed Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage the daily functions of the front desk, ensuring streamlined processes, mentoring the front desk team, and working closely with various departments to improve organizational efficiency. With a legacy of over 30 years, NHC is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee front desk operations at all NHC facilities
- Ensure effective daily opening and closing protocols
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere in the reception area
- Guide and support staff to enhance patient interactions
- Conduct training sessions focused on patient engagement and staff development
- Perform performance evaluations and manage staff growth
- Collaborate with other departments to refine organizational workflows
- Supervise the front desk team and uphold quality standards
- Engage in recruitment, training, and policy formulation
- Monitor key performance metrics and patient satisfaction levels
- Stay informed about software systems and ensure staff compliance with operational guidelines
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Previous supervisory experience is essential
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
