Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated Technical Sales Consultant who excels in long-term sales cycles, focusing on tailored and engineered solutions for medium to large manufacturers in a competitive landscape. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding abilities in identifying and securing new business opportunities through a value-driven sales approach. As an integral member of our sales team, you will collaborate with senior management, utilizing your knowledge to foster business expansion and build enduring partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in consultative selling, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of various solutions while clearly communicating the optimal path forward.
- Address objections and negotiate effectively based on value to successfully close complex sales.
- Prepare quarterly revenue projections and implement strategic annual sales plans, including essential tactical objectives to meet yearly goals.
- This role necessitates travel to client locations, with an estimated travel requirement of 25%-30%.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Total On-Target Earnings (OTE) are anticipated to be between $140,000 and $160,000.
- Base salary ranges from $112,000 to $128,000.
- Variable compensation will be determined by:
- Overall company revenue growth compared to the previous year.
- Sales territory revenue generated from new or previously inactive accounts.
- Management-directed activities, such as achieving specific RFQ targets in designated markets.
- Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, FSA, and 401k options.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) with accrual details available.
