About the Role

As a Surgical Tech II at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for surgical procedures by obtaining supplies and instruments, and ensuring the operating room is equipped with the necessary equipment.
  • Practice sterile and aseptic technique to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Manage instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures, ensuring they are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Participate in patient care, including medication management, dressing application, and assisting with patient positioning.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
