Job Summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality sonography procedures, including routine and interventional sonograms, under the supervision of a radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sonography procedures, including routine and interventional sonograms, under the supervision of a radiologist.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
  • Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registered in vascular and a minimum of two of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abdomen, or Breast.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in medical sonography to include biopsies.
