Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

• Perform mammographic procedures using proper ionizing radiation techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring accurate and comfortable positioning.
• Develop and evaluate films for technical quality, including density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Assist radiologists with procedures as needed and maintain aseptic technique between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology and registered in Mammography.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a valid R(M) certification.
• One year of experience in mammography or a related field.
