Surgical Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide care for patients of all ages, from birth to geriatric.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the surgeon during surgical procedures.
- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgeon and/or surgical assistant during operative procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
- Competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery.
