Job Summary

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the workflow, motivating and training warehouse associates, and ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs Workflow and Motivates Associates: Supervise and direct the workflow of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Monitors Work Processes and Improves Productivity: Monitor work processes and make suggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Ensures Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Support compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
  • Coaches Employees for Development: Coach employees to support their development in the role and provide opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Oversees Receipt and Shipping of Merchandise: Supervise the receipt of merchandise, ensuring that only products intended for the Distribution Center are accepted, and oversee the shipping of merchandise to customers.
  • Maintains Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of the delivery process, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials shipped.
  • Ensures Quality and Accuracy: Ensure the quality and accuracy of merchandise received and shipped, and oversee the maintenance of highly detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances.
  • Manages Associates and Tracks Performance: Responsible for associates in their area of responsibility, tracking attendance, monitoring performance, and managing overtime.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Requires a broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing; good decision-making skills; basic mathematical skills; good analytical skills; good leadership/coaching skills; good interpersonal skills; working knowledge of warehouse operations; strong organizational skills; attention to detail; knowledge of computers to operate effectively with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
