Vancouver Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Patient Account Representative to join our Credit/Provider Level Balance team within the Patient Financial Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with insurance and patient credits to maintain credit A/R at acceptable levels
  • Perform duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the clinic's mission and philosophy
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of private billing and collections regulations, commercial insurance contract practices, and third-party billing

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year experience in healthcare accounting, medical billing, and coding within a medical office
  • Experience with private medical billing and collections regulations preferred
  • Knowledge of government, commercial, and third-party insurance contract practices and PLB processing procedures preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, keyboarding, and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
