Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, insurance verification, and pre-certification processes to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  • Act as a clinical liaison with physician practices, interacting with pre-visit services to ensure smooth patient transitions.
  • Collect patient balances, co-payments, co-insurance, or other payment types, and verify coverage to ensure all insurance requirements are met.
  • Manage daily appointment schedules, including reminder calls and referrals, to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Transport patients using escort or wheeled transport equipment, as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of medical office or related customer service experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong background in customer service, with excellent time management skills and ability to manage conflict effectively.
  • Good customer service skills and good interpersonal skills.
