Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at Florida Detroit Diesel Allison. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general administration and coordination of our service department, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Administration: Manage service requests, warranty claims, and inter-company warranty requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Labor and Material Management: Monitor labor and material costs for non-sales order service, paint, and billable jobs, preparing invoices and cost analyses as required.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly cost analyses for labor and materials, reviewing and submitting reports to the Service Manager and finance department.
  • Customer Service: Act as liaison with customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, tracking parts and labor costs, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements for field service technicians, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service history, customer interactions, and job costing.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 5-7 years of related experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, prior experience with Oracle/JD Edwards service system preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependable, trustworthy, excellent communication and organizational skills.
