Job Overview

G3 Solar is on the lookout for a motivated and results-driven individual to take on the role of Solar Energy Sales Consultant. In this essential position within our sales department, you will be instrumental in advancing sales and advocating for our cutting-edge solar energy solutions tailored for both residential and commercial clients.

At G3 Solar, you will be part of a mission-focused team committed to fostering a sustainable future. Alongside a competitive salary and commission framework, you will have the chance to contribute positively to the environment by promoting renewable energy initiatives.

Compensation:

$172,000 at plan per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized schedule and attend appointments assigned by G3 Solar.
  • Gain expertise in solar energy systems and provide outstanding customer service as a knowledgeable representative of G3 Solar.
  • Identify and assess potential customers based on defined criteria.
  • Close sales with qualified homeowners to achieve personal and team sales objectives.
  • Conduct site evaluations and create tailored proposals for prospective clients.
  • Assist customers throughout the sales journey and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven success in sales roles, with a history of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 80% of the time and work outside of a conventional office environment within the designated sales area.
  • Flexibility to meet client needs, including evening and weekend appointments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse groups.
  • Professional demeanor and capability to manage sensitive discussions with clients and colleagues.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a smartphone for work-related tasks.
  • Experience in door-to-door sales or canvassing is beneficial but not mandatory.
