Emergency Department OverviewOur 10-bed general emergency department serves the Nogales, AZ, and surrounding communities. We are dedicated to providing timely and effective care to our patients. Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assesses and coordinates patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment.
- Monitors and records patient condition, communicating with the healthcare team as necessary.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs, working with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications within 90 days.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
