Emergency Department OverviewOur 10-bed general emergency department serves the Nogales, AZ, and surrounding communities. We are dedicated to providing timely and effective care to our patients. Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Implements and monitors patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & CPI certifications within 90 days.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
