Emergency Department OverviewOur 10-bed general emergency department serves the Nogales, AZ, and surrounding communities, providing high-quality care and a supportive environment for our patients and staff.
Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among healthcare team members.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications within 90 days.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
