Business Development Director

**Xigent Automation Systems Inc.**
Xigent Automation Systems, Inc., a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its sales team. Based in Lewis Center, Ohio, the company offers turnkey automation systems to manufacturing industry leaders.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct sales experience with automation products, systems, or components, and a proven track record of success in executive-level selling. A strong understanding of computer applications, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% are also essential requirements for this role.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prospect and qualify existing and potential customers to sell Xigent solutions
- Identify and close deals with corporate customers
- Collaborate with the Xigent sales organization to inform and educate customers about Xigent's capabilities
- Maintain strong relationships with customer decision-makers and develop a sales strategy based on their requirements
- Stay informed about customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues
- Brief Xigent management on customer status, prospects, and needs
- Secure new business and additional orders with existing customers
- Keep records and generate reports on all phases of activities, including account plans and forecasts
- Participate in various sales activities requiring perseverance, preparation, ingenuity, and responsibility
**Estimated Salary:** $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
