Court Intake Specialist

Qualifications
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with two years of general experience and one year of specialized experience. While a college degree is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Specialized experience is characterized by progressively responsible clerical or administrative duties that necessitate the regular application of clerical procedures. This demonstrates the ability to apply a body of rules, regulations, directives, or laws, and involves the routine use of specialized terminology and automated software for tasks such as word processing, data entry, or report generation. Such experience is typically found in environments like court systems, law firms, legal offices, banking institutions, educational organizations, social services, insurance companies, and real estate offices. Experience in legal or court settings is preferred but not required.

- The final candidate will undergo a background security check following a conditional offer of employment.
- Applicants will not be queried about their criminal history prior to receiving a tentative offer of employment. Those completing the AO 78 Application for Judicial Branch Employment are not required to answer questions regarding criminal history.
- Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from the application process and disciplinary action if discovered post-hire.
- Employment is provisional and contingent upon the successful completion of the required background investigation.
- Employees are subject to mandatory electronic funds transfer.
