Angel Guardian Inc is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Career Support Specialist to join our team. As a Career Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach individuals with disabilities in becoming independent workers, providing support in areas such as career planning, employment skills, and maintaining employment.
  • Guide individuals in career search, including individualized job coaching, resume preparation, mock interviews, and strategies for applying for work.
  • Attend local career fairs, industry conferences, and other networking events to generate new employers and build relationships with local businesses.
  • Connect with and maintain positive relationships with local businesses and employers supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Assist the Director of TeamWorks with intake of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) referrals and complete necessary documentation for individuals in the Supported Employment Program.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Non-judgmental manner with the ability to motivate others.
  • Experience in job coaching or supported employment preferred.
