We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our AWS Cryptography team as a Cloud Security Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, customer-centric systems that provide secure services to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include building a massively scalable digital security system that is core to all AWS services, owning the complete software development lifecycle, and operating an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
You will work as part of a team to develop solutions for our customers and own one of the most secure and reliable services in all of AWS.
What You'll Do- Design and implement scalable, customer-centric systems that provide secure services to our customers.
- Build a massively scalable digital security system that is core to all AWS services.
- Own the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Operate an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
- Work as part of a team to develop solutions for our customers.
- Own one of the most secure and reliable services in all of AWS.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
