YWCA Lancaster is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to join our Executive Leadership team. This is a full-time position responsible for leading our fund development and community engagement initiatives, working closely with our CEO, board members, donors, staff, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fund development plan to maintain the fiscal health of the organization and secure future financial resources.
  • Lead efforts around donor stewardship, cultivating, and upgrading donors to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Explore and capture diverse revenue streams, including sponsorships, strategic partnerships, and in-kind donations.
  • Supervise the Director of Communications and Marketing to ensure branding, image, accuracy, and consistency of messaging.
  • Coordinate with the CEO to identify new grant opportunities and supervise the Grants Manager.
  • Provide supervision to the Volunteer/Membership Coordinator and ensure the maintenance of constituent management software.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to understand community engagement plans and needs for financial support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of donor relations and fund development experience.
  • Proven track record of success in implementing annual fund giving, major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with grant writing and management, as well as familiarity with fundraising software and databases.
  • Knowledge of Lancaster County and commitment to YWCA Lancaster's mission.
