Manufacturing Engineer

Boyd Company is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, transition, and execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Aid in and lead transitions from engineering to production using standard operating procedures.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and meet company goals.
- Design and create fixturing and tooling using solid modeling programs and create properly dimensioned drawings to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
- Write and present technical reports, and develop procedures for use by other engineering or management personnel.
- Support sales through proposal writing, conducting analysis, and generating solutions to customers' requirements.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
- Less than five years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing efficiency and Lean practices.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, LabVIEW, and Microsoft Office.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
