Business Development Specialist

At Connection, we're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in our funded vendor and/or partner's specific practice area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Managers to identify sales opportunities and develop focus accounts in the practice area.
  • Partner with sales teams to engage with customers, identify, develop, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with vendor or partners to jointly target specific accounts and drive vendor or partner promotions and programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and maintain or achieve certifications for professional development.
  • Assist in the creation and presentation of technical training to our selling organizations and coach Account Managers on practice area technologies.
  • Act as the subject matter expert to Account Managers for pre-sales questions relating to their assigned products.
Requirements:
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Cisco Webex, and relevant internal business systems.
  • IT aptitude with a strong desire to continually learn and apply the latest technologies.
  • Working knowledge of vendor-specific technology and respective practice area technologies.
  • High aptitude to stay current and train on related technology areas.
  • Account planning skills with experience in up-sell and cross-sell strategies.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to the customer.
  • Proven experience managing projects and delivering expectations, both internally and with clients.
  • Action-oriented with strong executional skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills with the ability to collaborate with Account Managers and engage customers.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Excellent time management skills.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $56,750 to $71,500 per year, a total rewards package that provides financial, emotional, and physical resources for you and your family, and a supportive team environment that values your well-being and career growth.
