Job Title: Partner Development Specialist

Join Connection, a Fortune 1000 IT solutions partner, in a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with business acumen. As a Partner Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving partner program initiatives, providing subject matter expertise to Account Managers, and delivering training to the sales force.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Account Managers on pre-sales questions related to partner and product line.
  • Provide guidance and suggestions to Account Managers on partner resources, pricing programs, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, advanced services, and assessment opportunities.
  • Deliver training, battle-cards, and playbooks to the sales force on related topics.
  • Drive partner program initiatives as determined by the Product Manager, considering the needs of the partner.
  • Provide feedback to the partner and Product Management group on programs and resources.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including creating presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Aptitude for technology, with the ability to learn and use Connection programs.
  • Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials.
  • Negotiation skills to secure best purchasing agreements for customers and the company.
  • Understanding of inside sales strategies and upselling for upgrades and other add-on products.
  • Business acumen to understand the partner's strategic vision.
  • Adaptable with the ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to present professional demonstrations.
