Senior Vice President of Global Fund Finance - Open-Ended Funds BPP

Job Description:

  • Lead a team responsible for the daily operations concerning fund accounting and reporting for both open-ended and closed-end core European real estate funds, managed through both external and internal means.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party fund administrators.
  • Supervise all fund-level operational activities, including deal funding, LP funding, cash management, lines of credit, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
  • Direct the quarterly closing process for BX deliverables.
  • Evaluate all capital call and distribution activities alongside other fund-level operations.
  • Manage communication and relationships with external auditors.
  • Review quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements for fund partnerships.
  • Responsible for financial reporting, including the preparation and review of necessary filings, technical accounting inquiries, and monthly/quarterly reporting obligations.
  • Analyze complex waterfall and incentive structures.
  • Oversee LP onboarding processes and respond to investor inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal audit to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Work with technology teams to enhance the automation of manual tasks.
  • Foster collaboration and manage relationships with internal departments such as Tax, Acquisition, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, Investor Client Services, local Finance, Technology, and Treasury.
  • Implement the strategic plan for the team.
  • Develop innovative solutions to enhance operational processes.
  • Mentor and support the growth of junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA designation preferred.
  • Experience in open-ended funds, real estate, and/or the private equity sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • Highly organized and proactive in approach.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic organizational culture.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic; adept at managing multiple tasks and executing a variety of assignments; exceptional time management skills.
  • Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their work and a desire for professional growth.

Expected annual base salary range:

$155,000 - $225,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For positions located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will adhere to a different compensation framework based on local market standards.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not encompass other forms of compensation or benefits associated with the advertised role.
