Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to join our team at Dev Technology Group. This role will provide critical support to our software delivery program, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate government security clearance processes and onboard/offboard team members
  • Review and approve timecards for a large team, distribute task assignments, and collaborate with financial and vendor management personnel
  • Support information technology needs, coordinate laptop repair/replacements, and request assignment of non-standard workplace efficiency tools
  • Oversee team compliance with mandatory training requirements and contribute to content in Program collaboration tools
  • Identify and implement improvements to operational, financial, and resource management procedures and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of applicable work experience in a project analyst, business operations, or administrative role
  • Prior experience working in an information technology project environment, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of client, technical, and back-office personnel
  • Excellent relationship building capability, with the ability to apply logical thinking and diplomacy to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity working within the government contracting environment, with experience with federal government clients and associated accounting and finance systems
  • Familiarity with project management collaboration tools, such as Confluence and JIRA
