Summary/Objective

The Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all departmental functions, which include managing customer relations, scheduling, staffing, safety protocols, and achieving production targets on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Adherence to ISO standards is essential.

Essential Functions

  • Comprehensive understanding of all operational processes within the facility.
  • Address and resolve conflicts among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Support the facility manager in daily operations.
  • Conduct daily meetings with team leads.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Achieve deadlines and meet established objectives.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role includes direct supervision of team members.

Work Environment

The work setting is well-lit and climate-controlled, including both indoor office spaces and production environments, with adequate protection from extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands

This position requires light physical activity, involving non-strenuous daily tasks of an administrative or technical nature, with sufficient manual dexterity to handle various items.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role, typically requiring 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday during the day. Overtime may be necessary.

Travel

This position does not entail travel requirements.

Required Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with one to three months of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

A one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience or training, is preferred.

Computer Operations

Intermediate skills in personal computer operations, including email, database management, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Eligibility to obtain a TWIC badge (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is required.
