Position OverviewPosition Summary

Sign-On Bonus Available

ENSCO, Inc. is in search of a forward-thinking, resourceful, and highly skilled professional to contribute to the U.S. Space Force's MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Testing (MSEIT) contract. This role will engage with a variety of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure within a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer initial acquisition and planning assistance related to space communication systems
  • Conduct architectural evaluations and requirements formulation
  • Examine system requirements that establish the technical foundation and verification of that foundation
  • Assess proposed modifications to the technical foundation for their effects on capabilities and integration concerns across stakeholders
  • Facilitate the review of program documentation by providing feedback, consolidating reviewer input, and collaborating with contractors to resolve comments
  • Act as a subject matter expert to evaluate technical challenges and prepare presentations for U.S. Space Force leadership
  • Assist in managing risks, issues, interdependencies, identifying schedule discrepancies and conflicts, developing action plans for resolution, and aiding the Government in implementing selected solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering
  • Management credentials, such as an MBA or PMP
  • Systems engineering certifications, including ESEP, CSEP, OCSMP
  • Experience with terrestrial and airborne systems, including terminals and networks
  • Experience with communication satellite/terminal performance assessments, link budgets, and interfaces
  • Active Secret or higher security clearance
Required Qualifications (Skills)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on Communication systems
  • Familiarity with the MILSATCOM LDR and XDR waveform and protocols
  • Proficient in utilizing Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 15+ years of proven experience in space or aeronautical systems engineering and integration projects
  • 15+ years of experience in a collaborative team environment developing technical specifications, verification, or analysis using engineering applications and simulation models
  • 10+ years of experience with MILSATCOM systems, such as MILSTAR, AEHF, EPS, TSAT, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs
  • Experience collaborating with military or DoD civilian clients
  • ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
