Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Senior Systems Engineer to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Department of Defense artifacts and documentation to break down high-level requirements into actionable items for Agile program increments and sprints.
- Implement systems engineering principles across all lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
- Collaborate with project teams to address technical considerations and resolve associated challenges.
- Engage with Technical Direction Plan (TDL) project personnel, government stakeholders, and senior executives to ensure alignment.
- Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables across multiple process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, including Technical, Enterprise, and Agreement Process Areas.
- Contribute to the creation of systems engineering documentation, including Systems Engineering Plans, capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- For candidates without a degree, four (4) additional years of experience are required.
- If holding an Associate's degree instead of a Bachelor's, two (2) additional years of experience are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a STEM field or related discipline.
- Relevant industry certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A).
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for over 50% of the time.
- Effective communication and information exchange with peers and senior personnel.
- Frequent operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Regular communication with co-workers, management, and clients, including delivering presentations.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
The anticipated compensation range for this role is $134,700-$224,700, influenced by factors such as contract wage determination, relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
