Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at US Main. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and credit memos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily end-of-day order invoicing and deposits of trade receivable payments
  • Run credit card payments and post trade receivable payments to the appropriate customer's account
  • Reconcile any payment disputes, including over/short payments
  • Manage credit and collections, including new account credit and reference checks, communicating with delinquent accounts, and responding to requests for credit references from vendors
  • Assist the sales team with documenting, creating, and following up on sales returns and associated credit memos for customer returns
  • Responsible for sales order printing and delivering order paperwork to the warehouse
  • Assist management with updating miscellaneous reports, such as sales reports and freight cost reports
  • Perform other data entry responsibilities and miscellaneous administrative duties
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable related functions
  • Accounting background (preferred)
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Well-organized and a self-starter
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and multi-task
  • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
