Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Banking Professional to join our team at Linscomb & Williams. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for soliciting business from potential and existing customers, processing loan applications, and analyzing financial status and credit to determine feasibility of granting loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit business from potential and existing customers to include loans and deposits
  • Interview commercial applicants and process loan applications
  • Analyze applicant's financial status and credit to determine feasibility of granting loan
  • Prepare appropriate loan documentation and verify loan agreements are complete and accurate according to bank policy
  • Approve loans that meet established lending criteria and are within approved lending limits
  • Manage a portfolio of consumer and commercial loans (primarily commercial)
  • Provide and maintain a professional, business-like atmosphere within the banking division
  • Represent the financial institution in public relations activities and community affairs
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Sales oriented
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in a financial institution as a commercial lender
  • Knowledgeable of laws and regulations applicable to lending practices
