Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Gaylord, Minnesota. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Interface with production supervisors and operators to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Coordinate repairs, labor, and resources to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to prevent equipment failures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead and participate in maintenance reliability and continuous improvement projects
- Recruit, train, and develop maintenance personnel to ensure a skilled and efficient team
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Engineering, or 3+ years of maintenance experience
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance management experience
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
- Knowledge of basic mechanics, welding, electrical, fabrication, and preventative maintenance
- Refrigerated foods processing and packaging experience
- Food safety and sanitation principles (GMP, SQF)
- State and Federal rules and regulations (USDA, FDA, OSHA, etc.)
