Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Gaylord, Minnesota. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and other departments to identify and resolve operational issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including GMPs and SQF principles.
- Recruit, train, and develop maintenance personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Participate in maintenance reliability and CI projects to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Engineering, or 3+ years of maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance management experience, with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of basic mechanics, welding, electrical, fabrication, and preventative maintenance.
- Experience with refrigerated foods processing and packaging, as well as food safety and sanitation principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, and inventory control computer programs (SAP).
