McColm & Company (McCO) is a purpose-driven consulting firm dedicated to empowering change agents with essential knowledge, skills, and insights necessary for success in a complex global landscape. We specialize in providing tailored professional training programs, effective capacity building initiatives, and specialized advisory services to U.S. federal clients.

This announcement invites applications for subject matter expert training instructors, technical instructional designers, training program managers, and administrative support specialists with diverse expertise for prospective opportunities.

Position Details and Requirements

McCO aims to expand our network of subject matter expert training instructors, instructional design specialists, program management professionals, and training support personnel for anticipated engagements with various U.S. government departments. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise or interest in the following areas:

  • Security, Peacebuilding, and Diplomacy;
  • Economic Development and Trade;
  • Environmental Conservation and Energy Solutions.

We anticipate a combination of domestic and international assignments in the following roles:

  • Program Managers
  • Instructional and Curriculum Designers
  • Course Coordinators/Lead Instructors
  • Mentors and Capacity Building Advisors
  • Training Support Specialists
  • Program Assistants with travel coordination experience

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Proficiency in instructional design and professional training methodologies;
  • Regional or country-specific knowledge;
  • Thematic expertise relevant to current training priorities, including conflict resolution, peacebuilding, countering violent extremism, and economic empowerment;
  • Functional expertise in management areas such as project management, human resources, finance, and operations;
  • Local language skills are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

McCO provides a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, generous paid time off, and annual performance bonuses. Employees in contract roles may also qualify for retention bonuses upon successful project completion.
