TYPE: Consultant/Contract and Full Time Regular Employment

McColm & Company (McCO) is a purpose-driven consulting firm dedicated to empowering change agents with essential knowledge, skills, and insights for success in a complex environment. We specialize in supporting U.S. federal clients through tailored professional training programs, effective capacity building initiatives, and specialized advisory services.

This announcement seeks qualified candidates for roles including subject matter expert training instructors, technical instructional designers, training program managers, and administrative support specialists across various fields.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

McCO aims to expand our pool of subject matter expert training instructors, instructional design specialists, program management professionals, and training support personnel for upcoming projects with U.S. federal agencies. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise or interest in the following areas:

  • Security, Peacebuilding, and Diplomacy;
  • Economic Development and Trade;
  • Environmental Conservation and Energy Solutions.

We anticipate a mix of domestic and international work opportunities in the following positions:

  • Program Managers
  • Instructional and Curriculum Designers
  • Lead Instructors and Course Coordinators
  • Mentors and Capacity Building Advisors
  • Training Support Specialists
  • Program Assistants with travel coordination experience

Required Expertise

Candidates should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Instructional design and professional training;
  • Regional or country-specific knowledge;
  • Thematic expertise in priority topics such as conflict resolution, peacebuilding, countering violent extremism, and economic empowerment;
  • Management skills in program/project management, human resources, finance, and operations;
  • Proficiency in local languages is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

McCO provides a competitive salary and benefits package. Compensation is determined based on job requirements, budget availability, and the experience of the selected candidate. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, generous paid time off, federal holidays, and performance bonuses. Candidates in contract roles may also qualify for retention bonuses upon successful project completion.
