Communications Specialist at National Experienced Workforce Solutions

The Agricultural Conservation Experienced Services (ACES) Program provides exceptional opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Agricultural support for individuals aged 55 and older. Become a part of the ACES initiative to collaborate closely with NRCS personnel engaged in vital work daily.

Participation in the Experienced Worker Programs managed by NEW Solutions is temporary, allowing flexibility for either party to conclude the enrollment at any time. An 'ACES Enrollee' is part of a grant initiative funded by the USDA-NRCS and overseen by NEW Solutions.

Qualifications:
  • At least 20 years of experience in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or a related discipline OR a BA/BS Degree in a relevant field
  • Proficient in SharePoint, PowerApps, and Flow
  • Familiarity with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, and Protracts
Responsibilities:
  • Create materials utilizing visual aids, newsletters, and multimedia presentations
  • Organize and manage public information initiatives
  • Compose narratives and activities that reflect TSP programs
  • Undertake special projects as assigned
Additional Information:
  • Annual training on information system security, anti-harassment, and civil rights
  • Occasional travel may be necessary
  • Remote work options are available
