Job Summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Office Coordinator Float to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patients and physical therapy staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience throughout the patient's physical therapy journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and friendly service to patients and staff, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage clinic scheduling, ensuring patients are matched with the best clinician for their needs and optimizing patient flow.
  • Onboard new patients, including facility tours, data gathering, and introductions to physical therapy staff.
  • Verify patient insurance information and manage patient insurance requirements, informing patients of benefits and payment options.
  • Coordinate communication with physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters, and attorneys on behalf of physical therapists.
  • Assist with managing patient expectations based on clinical findings, including frequency and duration of treatment, progression toward functional goals, and discharge planning.
  • Organize cultural moments to recognize and appreciate patients' achievements.
  • Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices within the clinic.
  • Provide general office, receptionist, and clerical support to assigned locations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred
  • Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred
