Join Verdantas, a leading engineering and architectural consulting firm, as a Staff Civil Engineer I. We are seeking an ambitious and solutions-driven Civil Engineer with an interest in land development or municipal engineering. As a key member of our team, you will support project managers in completing various projects for public and private clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with technical and civil engineering design, performing engineering work associated with land development and water resources, and preparing plans for agency review. You will also attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, and contractors. To succeed in this role, you should be a critical thinker, willing to learn through trial and error, self-motivated, and able to put in the effort required to complete tasks. You should also have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, 0-2 years of experience in land development civil-site engineering, and knowledge of green infrastructure practices. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS is preferred.
