Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Managers in technical and civil engineering design tasks.
  • Engage in technical engineering activities related to land development and/or water resources, including:
    • Design of stormwater management systems
    • Site grading and preparation
    • Erosion and sediment control strategies
    • Preparation of plans for municipal and agency review
    • Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
    • Participate in meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, a willingness to learn through experience, self-motivation, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Exhibit a strong desire for professional growth and advancement as an engineer or technical designer.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 0-2 years of experience in civil-site engineering focused on land development.
  • Understanding of green infrastructure practices, including bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS is preferred.
  • EIT certification is preferred.
